His partner wanted to just do what the Powerhouse staff did, but he completely disagreed, saying that we should choose it ourselves because the albums had "special stickers" on them for an event and if we didn't get the sticker, it would be our own fault and not his, as he didn't want to take the blame for someone not getting the "special sticker". This particular one holding the box of signed CDs. Myself and the friend behind me got first picks, so yay for that and instead of a Powerhouse staff this time, it was one of the Security staff for the venue (Those guys were amazing, at lease the ones I had encountered and chatted with). The box went further down the line and then we heard a fan scream and we all knew that person got the Hi-Touch album we had seen earlier. She too just agreed and bought 2 albums as well and of course, no Hi-Touch. The friend behind me was next and she simply asked the guy is she could just pick the albums herself as she pointed to the Hi-Touch album, and the staff disagreed and mixed up the albums, simply telling her this was the best he could do. He chose 2 from the bottom of the box (blantly avoiding the Hi-Touch album) and of course, the 2 that I did receive were most definitely not the Hi-Touch ones. I wanted to buy 4 from that box, but the staff said he could only allow me to buy 2 and if I wanted more, I could purchase more with the new box coming down the line. The box that stopped at me first had about 6-8 albums left with one of them being a Hi-Touch album, as that album was on top and the sticker was out on full view. So, the staff of Powerhouse came down the line with a box at a time of signed Normal Edition Carnival albums. I'll just explain how it was handled in SF. Basically, it all depends on luck via this event. Those who preordered the albums were more likely to receive a Hi-Touch album than those who didn't preorder. We were all worried about the Hi-touch event thing with the albums, so they decided to just sell them down the lines, with the EE/VIP line first. Powerhouse finally arrived and people were able to line up to get their merch. Speeding time up, it was eventually getting closer to concert time. We had two lines, one for the Early Entry VIP and then the other line was for everything else. The security had had to change the direction of the line because of how long it was getting. and then walking back to the venue and getting back into the line. Walked all the way to China Town, browsing stores and then walking back getting a bite to eat at Carl's Jr. To kill time, I ended up roaming around Downtown with a friend I made in line. If you ever have to or want to camp overnight at that venue for a concert, do so with a group of people and not alone! But, the downside to having that haven is having a ton of homeless people. Stores amongst stores and well, it's a haven for shopaholics. Downtown SF legit has everything you would need. Backtracking a little, the concerts were held at The Warfield in downtown SF. I can't remember names for the sake of myself, but most Baby's from that night seemed to be on the older side, so noonas/nunas in this case. Mingled with the people directly in front and behind me. I did go by myself, so that made it that much more interesting. Lining up at 6:30-ish in the morning was definitely a new experience for me, seeing that I'm not much of a concert goer/doer (until now). To just lay in bed all day and not move a muscle, because all I remember doing at the B.A.P concert was standing up the entire time as we stood in line and waited. It was the day after the B.A.P concert and I was so ready to crash. Well, exploring SF in its entirety did not happen. A day of rest in between the B.A,P and AOMG concert! I was finally going to be able to explore SF in its entirety. I was a bit saddened, but a bit thankful. Unfortunately, Day6 had just recently come back, which meant that their US Tour was postponed and it was postponed till later this year in August. When hearing the news about B.A.P, Day6 & AOMG coming down to SF, I knew I had to hit the Bay! I was definitely set on the B.A.P concert, but the other two were also in the area that week, so I thought why not. I have been busy with life and all that life entails, but of course, as a Kpop fan, one is almost never too busy for Kpop concerts. I did not realize how long it has been since I have last updated this blog or whatever you may want to call it.
